Gotta love those Tuesday Tastings! Pilar Zeglin was back and this time with a little twist to the tasting. We got to play “The Price is Right” tryng to guess how much each bottle of those we sampled might cost.
Our choices for the tasting were:
- The White Knight 2014 Viognier from Clarksburg, California
- Oak Ridge Winery OZV Rosé from Lodi, California – a blend of Zinfandel and Chardonnay
- Leese-Fitch 2013 Zinfandel from Sonoma, California
- OZV Old Vine Zinfandel from Lodi, California
This was a great tasting with some really good wines. Leese-Fitch Zinfandel was my clear favorite and I came away with not just one, but two bottles.
And “The Price is Right”? It was a lot of fun even though I managed to miss on all guesses. It must have been the wine!
