It was another tasty Tuesday at Party Town.  Anna Allen of Martin & Company introduced us to the wines of Schild Estate located in the Barossa Valley of South Australia.  We sampled from the following:

  • Unwooded Chardonnay
  • GMS – a blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Shiraz
  • Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Shiraz

It’s no secret that when I find a Chardonnay I like, it’s usually heavily oaked, so this one was a pass for me.  Of the reds, not surprisingly, the Cabernet Sauvignon turned out to be my favorite and I think I spent all my revisits on that one.

We had another Kerrygold Cheese to try.  The aged cheddar was amazing.  I kept going back for revisits on this one too.  I am very sold on these cheeses!
